Why open weave trampolines are better than tight weave equivalents - why European shipyards only use open weave trampolines:

• Allows rapid water flow (in and out) when sailing in heavier seas and reduces the risk of burying the bow or submarining

• Doesn't catch wind and become like a sail

• Less strain on lashing buttons/eyes and frame

• Lower chance of ricochet effect

TRAMPOLINES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING SIZES AND COLOURS:

• High density (626gm/m2) polyester netting with 30mm X 30mm mesh with 10mm 3 strand polyester threaded border 3 strand polyester overlocked bolt rope.         
  • Colours: white, dark grey and black. Netting produced in Italy and constructed in France.

• High density (650gm/m2) polyester netting with 22mm X 22m mesh with 8mm 3 strand polyester threaded border and 3 strand polyester overlocked bolt rope. Netting produced in Italy and constructed in France.         
  • Colours: white and black

The netting is treated with Ciba Geigy UV stability coating rated to 600 KLY (the measurement of UV stability). High melting point of 220 degree C.

The bolt rope is three strand polyester, triple overlocked with an anti-chafing polyethylene.

The trampolines are made to measure as each multihull's owner has different requirements. For example fixing type (Z lacing or point to point), gap between trampoline edging and the fixing points. We can also compensate for the experience in lashing the trampoline.

We provide free of charge 5mm, 8 plait polyester for lacing in either solid white or black and 12 X 500mm cable ties for securing the edges. Everything you need for a successful install.
